Privacy Policy

1 Introduction

Welcome to Business Card Maker ("the App"), operated by Malek Tubaishat / jo-app ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the Business Card Maker mobile application (package ID: com.design.business_cards_generator), how it is used, and the choices you have.

2 How the App Works

The App is a native shell that loads our business-card design tool (business_card_generator.html, hosted at jo-app.com) inside an in-app browser view. All card design and image generation — reading the fields you fill in, rendering the card preview, drawing any QR code, and producing the final PNG image — happens entirely on your device, inside that browser view. The tool does not upload, submit, or transmit the card details you enter to our servers or to any other server.

3 Information We Collect

3.1 Business Card Content You Enter

To design your card, you may type in fields such as company name, person name, job title, phone number, email address, website, and address, and you may upload a logo image or choose colors and fonts. This information:

• Is used only to draw the card preview and the exported image on your own device.
• Is not sent to, or stored on, any server operated by us.
• Is saved as a draft in the browser view's local storage on your device (so your form isn't lost if you close the App), and stays on your device until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
• An uploaded logo image is read and rendered locally in the browser view and is never uploaded anywhere.

3.2 Generated Card Images

When you save a finished card, the image is written directly to your device's Photos / Gallery using the device's standard media storage APIs. We do not receive a copy of this image; it never leaves your device as part of this action.

3.3 Information Collected Automatically (via Advertising)

The App is free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob (banner ads, app-open ads, and rewarded ads — you watch a short rewarded ad to unlock each card generation). Google's advertising SDK may automatically collect:

• Advertising ID / device identifiers
• IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
• Device and app information (device model, OS version, language, app version)
• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view time) used for ad delivery, frequency capping, and fraud prevention

3.4 Fonts and Library Resources

The card-design tool loads web fonts from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) and two open-source JavaScript libraries (QR code generation and image rendering) from the cdnjs.cloudflare.com content delivery network, so that cards can use a variety of typefaces and render correctly. Loading these resources sends your device's IP address to Google and Cloudflare, as it would for any web request, but does not send any of your card content.

4 How We Use Information

Because we do not receive your card content, there is very little for us to "use." What automatically-collected advertising data exists is used only to:

• Display and personalize ads (subject to your device ad settings)
• Measure ad performance and prevent invalid traffic / ad fraud
• Diagnose and fix technical problems with the App

6 Data Retention

We do not retain your card content, because we never receive it. Your draft form data and any images you export remain on your device until you clear the App's storage, clear your device's app data, or uninstall the App — at which point they are removed along with everything else the App stored locally. Advertising data collected by Google is retained and governed by Google's own privacy policy.

7 Data Security

Because your card content is processed only on your device and never transmitted to a server we control, there is no server-side storage of that content for us to secure. Network connections used to load the App's design tool, fonts, and ad requests use standard HTTPS encryption in transit.

8 Permissions the App Requests

• Internet / network state — to load the design tool and to request ads.
• Photo / media storage (save image) — used only when you tap the save button, to write the generated card image to your device's gallery. On Android 10 and newer this uses the system's scoped storage / media APIs rather than broad storage access.

The App does not request location, contacts, camera, microphone, or SMS permissions.

9 Children's Privacy

The App is a general-purpose business/productivity tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at maltub9@gmail.com and we will address it.

10 Your Rights and Choices

• Clear your local data at any time via your device's App Info → Storage → Clear Data, or by uninstalling the App.
• Opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads / Google Ad Settings).
• Access, correct, or delete data held by Google related to advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

11 International Data Transfers

Advertising data collected by Google may be processed in the United States or other countries where Google operates, under Google's own safeguards for international data transfers.

12 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
